CHICAGO, IL. USA – July 9, 2003 - Strategic Entertainment Inc., in association with Assyrians Around The World, proudly presents “Akh Min Khimyani”, a 90-minute long Assyrian romantic comedy set in modern times. It was just another normal day in the life of marriage counselor Nazar Nisan (Nazar Amedin) until his 11am appointment. Not realizing what he will undergo in the next few hours, Nazar Nisan invites his new clients to have a seat and that is where the “love story” begins.

Akh Min Khimyani is a story that defines the trials and tribulations of love, as seen from two arguable perspectives. The story follows Ashoor (Jimmy Khnanisho), who is married to the beautiful young Assyrian woman Ashoorina Sargis (Sharokina Hasso). Amo Sargis (Abby Sarkis), Ashoorina’s father is very upset that his only precious daughter is in love with a loser twice her age.

Strategic Entertainment Inc., is an offset of Babylon Productions, a company founded by talented aspiring Assyrian Film Producers four years ago. Since its original inception, SEI has produced two American Films. “The Other Side” and “Sunshine 220. The first film project was a 45 minute drama about a drug user who had one too many relapses and saw his whole world come to a screeching halt. The second, a comedy, brought forth the truth behind blind dates made over the Internet. SEI has also produced various commercials and music videos for Assyrians in the Chicagoland area.

Assyrians Around the World, a Chicago based media organization, has been producing Assyrian Television for the last 20+ years and distributing their multi-faceted programs to all parts of the world. Helping promote previous Assyrian movies and drama, Assyrians Around the World has been an integral part of the Assyrian filming and Television broadcasting world.

Entertainment, in its various forms, serves as a fundamental element in preserving the Assyrian Culture. Our endeavor is to help create an Assyrian film industry that captivates the true flavor of the Assyrian people. The Assyrian Community is comprised of very qualified Assyrian men and women that can contribute to the longevity of the Assyrian Culture. Through music and video the Assyrian language and customs can be heard and seen in a creative mode of communication.
